Juliet Way-Henthorne

Technical Writer & Editor


Juliet joined the Climate Hazards Center in August 2018 as a technical writer & editor. Juliet engages with all CHC content, from social media to blog posts to academic manuscripts to website writing. She also manages CHC's social media presence and outreach endeavors. 

She graduated summa cum laude from UCSB with a degree in English literature and a minor in Professional Writing & Editing. She was the recipient of the William and Marjorie Frost Memorial Award the Dean's Undergraduate Education Award and helped pioneer the creative writing specialization under her past and current writing mentor, Cherríe Moraga.

While Juliet specializes in technical writing, she also authors creative and academic work. In her free time, Juliet enjoys reading, writing, traveling, and spending time with her dog and partner in crime, Sawyer. She is an MFA student at Vermont College of Fine Arts, where she studies creative writing and specializes in narrative non-fiction.
