Bio:
Donghoon Lee is a Canada Research Chair and Assistant Professor at the University of Manitoba. Prior to this, he was a postdoctoral researcher at CHC from 2020 to 2023. He earned his PhD from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, specializing in hydroclimatology and seasonal forecasting.
During his time at CHC, he led operational crop yield forecasting efforts and contributed to the harmonization of subnational crop statistics. He continues to collaborate with CHC in support of FEWS NET’s early warning activities.
