The Climate Hazards Center hosted esteemed colleagues, Denis Macharia and Patrick Kabatha, from RCMRD for a week of collaborative workshops and activities. The CHC's most recent collaboration with RCMRD included capacity building trainings in Eastern and Southern Africa, made possible by a SERVIR AST grant. These trainings were led by Shrad Shukla and Greg Husak. RCMRD and CHC continue to work closely to bring greater tools and capacity to the region in order to mitigate the effects of food insecurity.
