Climate Extremes: Patterns and Mechanisms received Honorable Mention for the Prose Award

The Climate Hazards Center is proud to announce that Climate Extremes: Patterns and Mechanisms received Honorable Mention for the Prose Award of the Association of American Publishers Awards for Professional and Scholarly Excellence. Honorable Mention in the environmental science category helps the CHC promote our goals of increasing awareness of climate hazards and accessing an engaged, thoughtful audience. Congratulations to all who collaborated and special thanks to Rituparna Bose; editors S.‐Y. Simon Wang, Jin‐Ho Yoon, Robert R. Gillies, CHC’s very own Chris Funk; and the American Geophysical Union. The Prose Award annually recognizes professional and scholarly excellence by highlighting exemplary books, journals, and electronic content in fifty-eight categories.
