CHG Tools Featured in "Geospatial Revolution"

Geospatial Revolution is a production of Penn State Public Broadcasting which aims to raise awareness of geospatial technology and the importance of its impact. The fourth and final episode concentrates on monitoring global climate change, preventing famine, tracking disease and mapping communities never before seen on a map. During an interview with Molly Brown (Research Scientist at Biospheric Sciences Branch, NASA Goddard Space Flight Center), images from EWX and GeoWRSI are shown as examples of tools used to help prevent starvation in struggling nations. The Climate Hazards Group frequently collaborates with Molly Brown. Molly Brown recently came to UC Santa Barbara to exchange ideas and highlight areas of concern going forward.
